Ezio Micelli is a full professor at the IUAV University of Venice. He is the director of the U-Rise master’s programme, which investigates urban transformations and innovative urban regeneration processes. He coordinates the IMPACT research cluster on the economic and social impact of interventions on cities and territories.

Ingrid Paoletti
Politecnico di Milano

Ingrid Paoletti is a Full Professor in the Technology of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. She is the founder of the research group in theorical and design experimentation Material Balance, where she is involved in innovative technologies and materials to develop a new and responsible material culture.

Thomas Miorin

CEO and co-founder with REDO SGR, Fondazione Housing Sociale and ANCE of Edera, Innovation Centre for a large-scale decarbonisation and regeneration of the built environment.
He has coordinated various national and international initiatives for sustainable building in his various roles.

Piero has 15 years of experience in climate change policies, urban resilience planning and urban innovation. Currently he is the Director of the National Innovation Hub for Public Building at the State Property Agency. He is an advisor of the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition for the National Adaptation Plan to Climate Change.

Chiara Rizzica
PhD architect and Senior Advisor on Social and Affordable Housing Policy

PhD architect and Senior Advisor on Social and Collaborative Housing, Affordable Housing Policy, and Service Design in the field of Social Innovation and Urban Renovation. She currently works as General Coordinator for Milano Abitare and also advises on social housing policies and projects for non-profit organizations.

Guido Callegari
Politecnico di Torino

Guido Callegari, Architect, PhD in “Architecture and Building Design”, Associate Professor of Architectural Technology at the Polytechnic of Turin, is Deputy Coordinator of the PhD in “Architecture. History and Design” and Coordinator of the “Off-site Construction” course in the Master’s Degree program “City Construction” at the Polytechnic of Turin.

Adriano Francescotti
X-LAM Dolomiti

He is the Technical Director of X-LAM Dolomiti, specialized in the production of CLT panels, design of timber structures and construction of buildings and timber structures.

Tiziana Monterisi

Tiziana Monterisi is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rice House Its mission is building the house made of rice and everything that accommodates humans: from the micro to the macro, using rice by-products. Ricehouse is a link between agriculture and architecture, through the industrial and artisan realities of the area.

In 2014, she obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture at the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti Pescara and in 2017 she qualified as an Architect. Since 2020, she has collaborated with Homers and Homes4All as an architect, supporting the development of innovative models of urban regeneration through housing.

Paolo Simeone is an adjunct professor and research fellow at Politecnico di Torino, DAD–Department of Architecture and Design, and an architect, expert in innovative sustainable building systems with a focus on wood constructions. Paolo currently teaches Architectural Technology with Prof. Guido Callegari in the “Off-site Architecture Design” course.
